MARCH 2009: “Jesus Shows His Love & Greatness”

Memory Verse: John 1:2,3b “He was with God in the beginning…..without Him

03/01 JESUS SHOWS HIS LOVE & GREATNESS:The Raising of Lazarus
EMPHASIS: How awesome is the all-encompassing power, and love, that are characteristic of God & Jesus.
APPLICATION: That Jesus is ALL-POWERFUL, as seen in the resurrection of Lazarus.
Share & Prayer: “ALL THE THINGS JESUS CAN DO!”
Activities: Let the children take turns wrapping and unwrapping each other, pretending to be Lazarus.

03/08 JESUS SHOWS HIS LOVE & GREATNESS Healing Two Blind Men
EMPHASIS: How awesome is the all-encompassing power, and love, that are characteristic of God & Jesus.
APPLICATION: That Jesus is ALL-POWERFUL, as seen in the healing of the blind men.
Share & Prayer: “PRAYER CLOCKS” (see separate sheet)
Activities: “BLINDFOLDED OBSTACLE COURSE” (see separate sheet)

03/15 JESUS SHOWS HIS LOVE & GREATNESS Jesus Walks on Water
EMPHASIS: Jesus being all-powerful means that He can do anything.
APPLICATION: Since Jesus is all-powerful, we can trust Him to do anything and take care of us, no matter what.
Share & Prayer: “Things that are hard to trust Jesus with”
Activities: “LEAP TO THE BOAT” (see separate sheet)

03/22 JESUS SHOWS HIS LOVE & GREATNESS Jesus Travels From Place to Place
EMPHASIS: Even though Jesus is all-powerful, He seeks people out to tell them about His Father.
APPLICATION: Jesus also wants us to go tell people about God -- all people, everywhere!
